New This Week: Editable Bookings, Channel-Smart AI, and Team Controls
Another batch of platform upgrades rolled out this week — all of them already part of the system we run for you. Nothing to install, nothing extra to pay. Here is what landed and why it matters.
Change a booking after it is paid — without the refund dance
Until now, fixing a paid service booking usually meant cancelling and rebooking, and untangling the payment by hand. Your platform now lets us fully edit a booking after payment — swap the service, change the staff member, add or remove add-ons, apply a coupon — and the payment reconciles automatically. If a customer calls to tweak their appointment, the change takes seconds and the money side sorts itself out.
AI answering that knows which door the customer walked through
Conversation AI can now be assigned per channel instead of one bot covering everything. That means the assistant answering your webchat can behave differently from the one handling SMS or Facebook messages — each tuned to how people actually talk on that channel, with tag-based routing to send the right conversations to the right place. It is a quieter change, but it makes automated answering feel a lot less one-size-fits-all. This is the same machinery behind the lead capture systems we build.
Tighter control over what your team can touch
Scheduling permissions got much more granular. If you run a team, you can now control who can view, edit, or manage meetings, services, and rentals at a finer level — the new hire can manage their own calendar without being able to reshuffle everyone else's, and front-desk staff can book without access to settings they should not be in.
Your CRM can now talk to your task tools
New native integrations connect your automations to Todoist and Jira. When something happens in your CRM — a deal closes, a job is booked, a form comes in — a task can be created, updated, or closed in the tool your team already uses, and task activity can trigger automations back the other way. Handy if your operations live outside the CRM but your leads live in it.
Want any of these switched on or tuned for how your business runs? Just reach out — it is already part of what we manage.
Stop losing jobs to slow follow-up.
We build the system that texts back missed calls, follows up automatically, and books the job, so Thunder Bay business owners stay focused on the work, not the phone.
